Leipzig Tour 2027
Arizona Bach Festival
Leipzig Baroque Immersion Tour • June 8-16, 2027
A week-long immersion into the Bachfest Leipzig and other points of interest
The Board of the Arizona Bach Festival invites you to join us on an extraordinary musical journey next June. For ten days, Leipzig, Germany, will become the epicenter of the world’s musicians paying homage to J. S. Bach, providing amazing performances, and you can be there in person!
At the 2027 Bachfest Leipzig, you can see and hear the Amsterdam Baroque Orchestra, the English Baroque Soloists, the Monteverdi Choir, conductors Ton Koopman and Andreas Reize, and even the rarely-heard St. Luke Passion of Bach.
We will guide you through this week of masterworks with tours, lectures, and guides to provide context for the performances and special access to facilities and performers. Scott Youngs, our artistic Director, has chosen a selection of the many concert offerings, and you may add to those and even extend your journey. You may take the side trips to Dresden, Erfurt, Eisenach or stay close to the Festival and add performances daily. Our hotels are close, access is comfortable and easy, and our German hosts are the best.
We would love to share this amazing experience with our long-time supporters and friends of the Arizona Bach Festival. What could be more exciting than hearing Bach’s choir, in his own church, singing his greatest music?
